Swarthmore Cob Wall

The Swarthmore Cobb Wall was a project for the  Ceramics Handbuilding Class in the fall of 2011.   Students created proposals for an adobe wall from which a final  structure was  developed.  Former student Massey Burke, a  professional earth materials  builder, provided instruction in the final completion of the project.  All materials were obtained from the Swarthmore college landscape.
